What Does Your Birth Number Say About You?

Your birth date "supposedly" describes who we are, what we are good at and what our inborn abilities are. It also points out what we have to learn and the challenges we are facing. Check out this cool method on finding out what you birth number says about you!!!

Here's how:

To figure out your Birth Number, add all the numbers in the Birth Date together, like in the example, until there is only one digit. A Birth Number does not prevent you from being anything you want to be; it will just
color your choice differently and give you a little insight.

Example:
March 20, 1950
3 + 20 + 1950 = 1973
1+9+7+3=20
2+0=2

Keep going until you end up with a single digit number. 2 is the Birth Number to read for the birth date in the
example.

#1 THE ORIGINATOR
#2 THE PEACEMAKER
#3 THE LIFE OF THE PARTY
#4 THE CONSERVATIVE
#5 THE NONCONFORMIST
#6 THE ROMANTIC
#7 THE INTELLECTUAL
#8 THE BIG SHOT
#9 THE PERFORMER

# 1 - THE ORIGINATOR
1's are originals. Coming up with new ideas and executing them is natural. Having things their own way is another trait that gets them as being stubborn and arrogant. 1's are extremely honest and do well to learn
some diplomacy skills. They like to take the initiative and are often leaders or bosses, as they like to be the best.

#2 - THE PEACEMAKER
2's are the born diplomats. They are aware of others' needs and moods and often think of others before themselves. Naturally analytical and very intuitive they don't like to be alone. Friendship and companionship is very important and can lead them to be successful in life, but on the other hand they'd rather be alone than in an uncomfortable relationship. Being naturally shy they should learn to boost their self-esteem and
express themselves freely and seize the moment and not put things off.
Famous 2's: President Bill Clinton, Madonna, Whoopee Goldberg, Thomas Edison, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

# 3 - THE LIFE OF THE PARTY
3's are idealists. They are very creative, social, charming, romantic, and easygoing. They start many thingsbut don't always see them through. They like others to be happy and go to great lengths to achieve it They

outdoors and feel an affinity with nature. They are prepared to wait and can be stubborn and persistentThey should learn to be more flexible and to be nice to themselves.
Famous 4's: Neil Diamond, Margaret Thatcher, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Tina Turner, Paul Hogan, Oprah Winfrey

# 5 - THE NONCONFORMIST
5's are the explorers. Their natural curiosity, risk taking, and enthusiasm often land them in hot water. They need diversity, and don't like to be stuck in a rut. The whole world is their school and they see a learning
possibility in every situation. The questions never stop. They are well advised to look before they take action and make sure they have all the facts before jumping to conclusions.
Famous 5's: Abraham Lincoln, Charlotte Bronte, Jessica Walter, Vincent VanGogh, Bette Midler, Helen Keller and Mark Hail

# 6 - THE ROMANTIC

loyal and make great teachers! They like art or music. They make loyal friends who take the friendshiseriously. 6's should learn to differentiate between what they can change and what they cannot.
Famous 6's: Albert Einstein, Jane Seymour, John Denver, Merlyn Steep, Christopher Columbus, GoldiHawn

#7 - THE INTELLECTIJAL
7's are the searchers. Always probing for hidden information. They find it difficult to accept things at face value. Emotions don't sway their decisions. Questioning everything in life, they don't like to be questioned
themselves. They're never off to a fast start, and their motto is slow and steady wins the race. They come across as philosophers and being very knowledgeable, and sometimes as loners. They are technically
inclined and make great researchers uncovering information. They like secrets. They live in their own world and should learn what is acceptable and what's not in the world at large.

objectively. They let you know in no uncertain terms that they are the boss. They should learn to exude theidecisions on their own needs rather than on what others want.
Famous 8's: Edgar Cayce, Barbara Streisand, George Harrison, Jane Fonda, Pablo Picasso, Aretha Franklin, Nostrodamus

#9 - THE PERFORMER
9's are natural entertainers. They are very caring and generous, giving away their last dollar to help. With their charm, they have no problem making friends and nobody is a stranger to them. They have so many
different personalities that people around them have a hard time understanding them. They are like chameleons, ever changing and blending in. They have tremendous luck, but also can suffer from extremes in fortune and mood. To be successful, they need to build a loving foundation.
Famous 9's: Albert Schweitzer, Shirley MacLaine, Harrison Ford, Jimmy Carter, Elvis Presley

When calculating my birth date, I see that according to this I'm a 5! For me, I dont think the #5 describes me as well. But, it was interesting to see what characteristics they say I have according to my birth date.

How about you? Give it a go and tell me your number!

Easy Oven Cleaning Tip!

Came across this on Facebook and thought I'd share with you!

After the Thanksgiving holiday, depending on how much cooking you did, you just may need to read and try this great oven cleaning tip!!

No one likes a dirty stove top or oven (I know I don't)! So, if you have some build up in your oven that the normal cleaners may not be removing, try this out!

Begin by preheating the oven to 150 degrees (or your lowest setting available). While the oven is heating, put on a pot of water to boil. Once the oven has reached 150, turn it off and pour 1 cup of ammonia into a heat safe bowl or baking dish and place it on the top rack of the oven. Place the pot of boiling water on the bottom rack, close the oven door, and leave them both in the oven overnight.

The next morning, open the oven and remove both the bowl of ammonia and the pot of water, keep the ammonia – you’ll use it later. Remove the racks and leave the oven door open to air out for 15 minutes. Add 1-2 teaspoons of dishwashing liquid to the ammonia, along with 4 cups of warm water, and using a heavy-duty nylon scrubbing pad dipped in the ammonia mixture, begin to wipe away the softened grease and grime along the sides and bottom of the oven.

It should be a fairly easy job at this point. Wear some kitchen gloves, since ammonia can be caustic to skin. Rinse/wipe clean with a damp cloth.

Hope you found this tip helpful. Try it out, I plan too!

Q.O.T.D..."Stand Out & Stand Above"

"Stand Out & Stand Above"

I love the above picture! To me it speaks volumes!!

There's nothing wrong with being an individual! To me, that's the best way to be! You find so many people trying to live for others, trying to impress others, & trying so hard to fit in. I've never really understood this! Life is a journey...YOUR journey! So in this journey be yourself NO MATTER how "different" you may look or feel! Do what makes you happy & spend time with those that love you for you!

No single person is perfect, we all have flaws/imperfections!! Realize that those same flaws/imperfections are what makes you- you. Maybe those flaws/imperfections are there for you to focus on and work harder on you! Whatever the flaw, whatever the imperfection...love yourself, go hard for yourself, and know that we all have a purpose and not being yourself will stop you from seeing that purpose!

When you're being yourself, you're being real, & real people appreciate that. Believe it or not, it's noticeable when people are not being themselves and living or doing so to impress the next just to get "cool points" so to speak.

So remember to "Stand out & Stand Above"! No need to follow the crowd.....you might get lost in it!

Thanksgiving Thoughts....

As I sit and think of ALL I have and ALL I'm thankful for, I also know there are many who cant say the same!

It's important to remember that not everyone is surrounded by large wonderful family. Some of us have problems during the holidays and sometimes are overcome with great sadness when we remember the loved ones who are not with us. And, many people have no one to spend these times with and are besieged by loneliness.

We all need caring thoughts and loving prayers this time of year especially! Whether it be financial struggles, health struggles, relationship struggles etc…reach out to those in need! Not everyone has a family to share with or to be Thankful for...BUT I pray everyone has SOMETHING to be Thankful for.....† God Bless you in all of your happiness as well as your struggles!

Happy Thanksgiving again from TwithTally!!

Does Size Matter.....Of The Ring That Is?

This blog post came about from a conversation I had with a girlfriend yesterday, which was interesting and hilarious might I add because we shared two different views and opinions on this topic!

My opinion was no, not at all while her opinion was yes, it does matter. To each his own right? Well, I say no for several reasons. I think the size of the ring shouldn't be a concern AT ALL!! Now I don't know...maybe it's just me, maybe I'm just old school, maybe I'm just not that self-centered to be focused on something so small when I already have the BIG prize....his heart!!! That's just my thought.

While a huge ring would be awesome and of course beautiful, it would NOT matter in the least bit nor would it determine if I could or would marry him.

Women block blessing all the time because we allot of times are worried about what "society" may think. Society can be family, friends and even people who know nothing about you. When in reality, you should care about if he makes you happy, if he's committed to you and your relationship, if he has your back, if he supports your dreams, if he's your biggest fan, if he's a doer and not a talker, and over all if he's somebody that ultimately makes your world better!!! THAT'S what matters ....not the size of the ring!

If your man is ring shopping for you then that means he holds you higher than any other woman he's dated prior to you and wants to make you his wife! Isn't that enough? I'm sure he wants the best for you and would do all that he could to get you the best ring he could afford! So, if goes out and gets a ring that's not of your standards aka big enough, then chances are he probably couldn't afford it at that time. Now, if he has it financially to buy a huge ring then cool....of course, by all means that's great! But if he cant, don't criticize or think less of him because the ring isn't the ring of your dreams! Again, your focus should be on the fact that he loves you enough to put a ring on it!

In conclusion to my opinion....remember the ring is just a symbol of unity! The size of the stone doesn't determine the marriage. But, some women like my girlfriend, seem to believe that his love is determined by the size of the ring he buys. So basically, the bigger the stone - the better the marriage? I think NOT!! But again, this is just my opinion! There are soooooo many women walking around with big rocks and empty hearts! Who wants that? That ring is all some women have. If you have true love, the size of the ring wont matter to you. If the love is genuine and loyal...who freaking cares? Women are always saying it's hard to find a good man, yet when some have one they allow "society" (aka friends, family or foe) to tell them how it should be! Stop worrying about impressing the next! Stay true to yourself and the love of your life! Don't miss out on happiness because of the "material haves and have nots"!

Unconditional love is the greatest blessing to experience. I'm thankful that I have the husband I have. Loyal, kind, caring, appreciative, attentive, supportive, my biggest fan, and best friend. I told him when he proposed...I would've said yes with a rubber band because I have never experienced love on this level and I wouldn't trade it for the world!

So, what do you think? Does the size of the ring really matter? Does the size determine the amount of love he has for you? How do you feel, let me know!

DIY Dry Hair Conditioners....

Dry natural hair needs lots of moisture to prevent breakage and to maintain length. Regular use of deep conditioning treatments that provide protein to weakened spots on your hair shaft and moisturizing hair masks is mandatory for long, healthy natural hair. Most women prefer to buy their products, and natural hair care forums are full of product reviews and shared experiences with one product or another. Every product will work well for some people’s hair, but not every product is meant for everyone. Variables in hair texture, municipal water supplies, hormones, and even weather may produce an entirely different reaction to a product than someone else may have had.

If interested in keeping your hair hydrated and healthy, take a look at these simple DIY dry hair conditioner recipes!

Dry Hair Mask Egg Recipe:
Beat one to two egg yolks with 2-4 tablespoons of water and work through your hair. Leave on hair for no more than 15 minutes.

Dry Hair Mask Avocado and Egg Conditioner:
Peel avocado, remove seed and place in blender. Add 2 large egg yolks and blend well. Massage mixture into hair and scalp.

Dry Hair Yogurt Mask:
Combine one 8oz. container of organic full flat plain yogurt with one tablespoon of honey and one tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil. Use only organic plain yogurt as most others contain sugar compounds and preservatives. Your dry hair will benefit from the natural milk fats, so avoid nonfat or low fat yogurt when using as a conditioner for your hair.

Dry Hair Banana, Egg and Milk Hair Mask:

Blend together one ripened mashed banana, one egg yolk, 3 tablespoons of honey, 3 tablespoons of milk or cream and 5 tablespoons of argan oil, coconut oil or olive oil.

As you can see, you can easily and inexpensively make your own dry hair conditioners and mask from ingredients that replenish moisture and repair damage to the hair shaft like ripe avocados, ripe bananas, egg yolk, organic mayonnaise, yogurt and nourishing oils. You can whip up these dry conditioners and mask recipes in minutes. All of thee above are non-toxic, chemical free and leave no product residue behind to create further build up!

After applying the conditioner and or mask to your hair, be sure to cover your hair with a plastic cap and leave on for a minimum of 45 minutes (except the egg mask). Avoid using heated caps or hooded dryers. Using heat will then cook the product and leave you with cooked food in your hair.

When done with the product, throw any remaining away. These DIY conditioners are all natural and contain no preservatives and therefore will go bad quickly. Once rinsed out, your hair should be left feeling soft, full of moisture, body and frizz free! You should notice a marked reduction in breakage after just one treatment. Do these natural dry hair treatments once or twice a week.

Hope you guys found these DIY dry hair recipes to be helpful. With the weather change it's important to not only keep your skin moisturized but your hair and scalp also.

*Remember that sealing oils help lock moisture into the hair strand, so always condition your hair FIRST, then follow up with a sealant. Otherwise you will seal your hair shaft and lock moisture out!  Some of the best oils for dry natural hair are Argan oil (better known as Moroccan oil), avocado oil, almond oil, olive oil and coconut oil if you don’t have allergies.
