Celebrating "Love" Day

Last week we, the world celebrated what I call "Love Day" known as Valentines Day! LOVE is definitely to be celebrated in my opinion! If you're in a friendship or a relationship, celebrate the person that puts a smile on your face, makes your day a little better just by the sound of their voice etc. And it doesn't take much.... a card, flowers/roses, dinner or lunch, quality time, a gift shes been hinting at, perfume etc.

And yes, I do believe we should show and express our love on a daily for our significant others however, if there's specifically a day designated for it ... it ain't my fault and therefor we're celebrating :)

Weekend Happy

Hey all my "Weekend Lovers"!!! I think I say way to often how I LOOOOOOVE, LOVE, LOVE the weekends- lol!! Whether I have plans to hang out at a friends, do some shopping, or just simply chillin'! The weekend is my time to do WHATEVER I please in WHATEVER order I choose... talk about adulting huh :) 

Anyways... no more blabbering! Hubby and I had some errands to run along with a little fun in the sun so of course I had to flick it up a few times!

Day or Night Denim

I've said this before and I'm sure I'll say it again.... I AM A COMFY BUT CUTE kinda girl! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE a cute denim set, or the right pair of jeans because they can go with just about ANYTHING....literally! Denim pieces are normally very versatile which is another thing I love- but who doesn't! 

This past weekend my hubby and I went to a few gatherings and I FINALLY wore my denim jumpsuit I've had for a year now!!

Mixing Classic with Casual

You know when you're in the mood to be a little classy but still wanna keep it casual? Well, that was the mood last weekend. Hubby and I were going out with some friends and I wanted to be cute and comfortable! (Sidebar: he constantly teases me when we're going out because I ALWAYS wanna be cute and comfy so when it's time to get dressed he says: "what you going for today cute and comfy"? -lol). 

Anyway, I opted for the classic black dress (which every girl should have at least one of) and made it casual by adding my black and red flannel shirt tying it at the waist and I think it came out pretty nice. You've seen this look around before so here's a look at how I did it.

With the New Year Holiday approaching comes what we all love to do....CELEBRATE!!! Whether it be office parties, family functions, outings with friends etc., you always want to be fashion ready and event appropriate.
